These PolyPhaser coaxial surge protectors are recommended.  Most are dc-blocked with a capacitor in series with the coax center pin.  On the protectors which show a voltage pass through, the voltage is protected separately from the coaxial center pin RF energy.

Notes:

   Connectors: The first letter is the connector family, followed by the gender of the antenna/equipment connectors.

    Mount: Flange protectors mount on a flat surface where the coaxial cable is parallel to that surface.
